Gay Marriage

Mon Jul 27, 2009, 11:05 PM
I wrote this making a comment and thought to copy it.

............
Domestic partnership is the same exact thing in California. So what rights are they really being denied? When they become domestic partners they have the exact same rights as married couples. I don't understand why gay people are making such a big deal out of this. They say that it should be equal? Get real... there are some thing that are given to a specific people. Nothing we can do about it. For example, I can't go into the womens' restroom cuz I could be arrested if I offend someone with my present and for a girl it is the same if they walked into a mens' restroom, but, honestly, I don't think that men would really make a deal of a women being in the mens' room. Sometimes it isn't fair, but really that is life. Why is my car insurance higher than a girl's? I'm male and I'm 18. Anyway, they say their rights are being denied? Bullshit. In a legal domestic partnership they have the same rights. So what is it really?
